Let go of treasure

Matthew 6:19

It’s okay to have nice things and it’s fun to eat fancy meals. The danger is thinking those things will get us what we’re looking for. Jesus says that they won’t. On our death beds all we’ll care about is the love we shared. Jesus wants us to treasure each other, God, and creation instead of our collections of stuff. When you love me and I love you and we say it… “I love you.”...then we’ve found life’s lasting treasure.
