Joys and Sorrows
Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Joys
Alice and Sam Porter and the Dahlstrom Family are both expecting, and received Expectant Family Blessings on July 13.
Let us pray
O God, you have taught us through your blessed Son that whoever receives a little child in the name of Christ receives Christ himself:
We give thanks for the Porter Family and the Dahlstrom Family. We pray for them as they enter this next season of their lives. Bless them with the courage and faith of Mary, always listening to your will and trusting in your loving care as they prepare to bring new life into the world. Amen.

Ann Harrison, mother of Dianne Griffith, died on July 19. Please keep Dianne and her family held close in your prayers. The funeral service will take place at Good Shepherd on Thursday, July 31 at 11 am. The obituary can be found HERE

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant, Ann and welcome her into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
For Those who Mourn
Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn, especially the Griffith family, that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Fred Hood, husband of Mary Hood and founder of Shepherd’s House, died on July 10. Please keep Mary and her family held close in your prayers. The visitation will take place at Kerr Brothers on Main on Wednesday, July 16 at 7 pm. The funeral service will take place at Good Shepherd on Thursday, July 17 at 11 am. A reception will follow.
