Joys and Sorrows
Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Joys
Emily and Chase Fairchild welcome a new baby girl. We give thanks for the birth of Cassidy Fairchild born on July 28. Big sister is Zoe.

O God, you have taught us through your blessed Son that whoever receives a little child in the name of Christ receives Christ himself:
We give you thanks for the blessing you have bestowed upon the Fairchild family in giving them a daughter. Confirm their joy by a lively sense of your presence with them, and give them calm strength and patient wisdom as they seek to bring this child to love all that is true and noble, just and pure, lovable and gracious, excellent and admirable, following the example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Tricia and Will Gray welcome a new baby girl. We give thanks for the birth of Emilia Stirling Gray born on May 30. Big sister is Georgia.

George Zack, long time Good Shepherd parishioner (former) died on July 12. Please keep the Zack family held close in your prayers. An obituary can be found HERE.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant, George and welcome him into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
For Those who Mourn
Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn, especially the Zack family, that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Good Shepherd parishioner, Bob Slone, died on July 7. Please keep the Slone family held close in your prayers. A visitation will be held at Milward’s on Southland on Thursday, July 23 from 4 - 7 pm. On Friday, July 24 a visitation will be held at Good Shepherd at 12 noon followed by the funeral service at 1 pm. An obituary can be found HERE.
