Sorrows
Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Joys
Katelyn and Eric Bunning have a new baby girl. We give thanks for the birth of Mary Conner Bunning born on April 21.
Let us pray
O God, you have taught us through your blessed Son that whoever receives a little child in the name of Christ receives Christ himself:
We give you thanks for the blessing you have bestowed upon the Bunning family in giving them a daughter. Confirm their joy by a lively sense of your presence with them, and give them calm strength and patient wisdom as they seek to bring this child to love all that is true and noble, just and pure, lovable and gracious, excellent and admirable, following the example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Sorrows
All of us go down to the dust; yet even at the grave we make our song:

Bruce Ashcraft, brother of Diana Smith, died on April 23. Please keep Diana and her family held close in your prayers. An obituary can be found HERE.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant, Bruce and welcome him into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
For Those who Mourn
Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn, especially the Ashcraft and Smith Families, that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
David Johnson, brother of Rick Johnson, died on April 11. Please keep Rick, Debbie and the Johnson family held close in your prayers.
