“The mystic is not somebody who says, “Look what I’ve experienced. Look what I’ve achieved.” The mystic is the one who says, “Look what love has done to me.” . . .  There’s nothing left, but the being of love itself giving itself away as . . . the concreteness of who you simply are.

    -James Finley

  • Rector's Bible Study

Rector’s Applied Bible Study meets twice a week: Wednesday morning at 7:30am and Sunday morning at 9:15am. During this time we dive into the bible stories and look for ways that we can use what we find in our own real-life stories. Why “Applied”?  Our aim is to Apply the fruits of our study to our actual, everyday lives.

On Wednesdays, we are reading passages from the old testament in addition to the Birth Narrative of Jesus. Click the button below for more information.

“Contemplation is a vivid realization of the fact that life and being in us proceed from an invisible, transcendent and infinitely abundant Source.”
