Formation is a life-long process starting at the time we are born and continuing all throughout our lives.  It is a spiritual journey. The Christian Formation Program at Good Shepherd has something for every age and every level of knowledge, exploration, and growth.

    Join us Sunday mornings at 9:15am for Rector’s Bible Study in the Undercroft. We will take a deeper look at the Gospel appointed for the day. What is Jesus up to and how might we apply his teachings to our own real world lives?

    Centering Prayer

    Mondays and Thursdays

    Centering Prayer is a form of silent prayer (meditation) which invites us to rest in silence to deepen our relationship with God.     Reading the Mystics

    We are currently on a break. We will return on Monday, June 23rd.

    Fr. Hendree will lead a discussion of the work and writings of the Christian mystics. We will read a variety of mystics over the course of the year.

    We are currently on a break. We will continue meeting on Wednesday, June 25th.

    We will begin studying the Letters from Paul to Timothy on June 25th. All are Welcome! We meet in person, via Zoom, or on LiveStream.

  • Moms' Ministry

    During the summer, our Moms’ Ministry gathers the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8:45am. This ministry provides a nurturing space for mothers to gather for friendship, support, and spiritual growth in the midst of motherhood. We meet at Woodland Park during the summer.

    The Good Shepherd Book Group meets the First Thursday of every month from 7:00-8:30pm in the Library. Come enjoy open and caring conversation and the exchange of ideas!

    Third Wednesday│7:00pm

    The Young Adult Ministry is a Small Group that meets monthly (during the program year) for food, fellowship, and fun!

    We are currently meeting on the Third Wednesday of every month for Trivia Night at Mirror Twin Brewing! Come join us! If you have any questions, reach out to Zac.

    The Men’s Breakfast is open to all men of the parish. This is a wonderful opportunity for all generations to meet and share a meal together!

    Daughters of the King

    First Sunday│11:30am

    Daughters of the King is an international order of women who pledge themselves to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism. The Daughters strive to fulfill the promises of their Baptismal Covenant through a personal Rule of Life which incorporates a Rule of Prayer and a Rule of Service. They pray daily for members of our parish and others who have made requests.
