Formation is a life-long process starting at the time we are born and continuing all throughout our lives. It is a spiritual journey. The Christian Formation Program at Good Shepherd has something for every age and every level of knowledge, exploration, and growth.

Our Young Adult group is an eclectic group of ‘young’ individuals. Our group ranges from 22-40… we believe if you feel that you are a young adult, then you are! We welcome all!
Our Young Adult Women typically meet once a quarter. Our activities range from paint night to dinner out on the town. We communicate our offerings via GroupMe. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please contact the front office.

Sunday Rector's Bible Study: The Way of Jesus
Summer dates we will not meet: June 7, June 14, and July 5
Join us Sunday mornings at 9:15am for Rector’s Bible Study in the Undercroft. We will take a deeper look at the Gospel appointed for the day. What is Jesus up to and how might we apply his teachings to our own real world lives?

Centering Prayer
Monday at 5pm; Thursday at 12pm
Centering Prayer is a form of silent prayer (meditation) which invites us to rest in silence to deepen our relationship with God. Moms' Ministry
During the summer, this group will meet on June 23rd and July 28th at 8:45am at Woodland Park for a playdate!
During the school year, our Moms’ Ministry gathers the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 8:45am. This ministry provides a nurturing space for mothers to gather for friendship, support, and spiritual growth in the midst of motherhood. We meet in the Bishop’s House (536 Sayre Ave).

The Good Shepherd Book Group meets the First Thursday of every month from 7:00-8:30pm in the Library. Come enjoy open and caring conversation and the exchange of ideas!

Third Saturday│8:30am
The Men’s Breakfast is open to all men of the parish. This is a wonderful opportunity for all generations to meet and share a meal together! We gather in the Undercroft.

Daughters of the King
First Sunday│11:30am
Daughters of the King is an international order of women who pledge themselves to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism. The Daughters strive to fulfill the promises of their Baptismal Covenant through a personal Rule of Life which incorporates a Rule of Prayer and a Rule of Service. They pray daily for members of our parish and others who have made requests.
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God."
