Peace be with you!  In this Sunday’s Gospel reading, Jesus teaches us that “one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions” (Luke 12:15).  Rather, Jesus encourages us to center our lives on becoming rich toward God.  

Peace be with you!  In this Sunday’s Gospel reading from Luke, one of Jesus’ disciples asks Jesus to teach him how to pray.  Jesus teaches him the words we know as the “Lord’s Prayer”, which is the same prayer we pray before receiving Holy Communion every Sunday.
