What does it mean to be born again from above

To be born again from above means to let go of all control, to forget everything we know, and re-enter the sacred ignorance of childhood as creatures entirely directed by the love of Jesus.

You cannot make yourself be born again. There are no easy directions to follow. It’s not instant grits, just add water, then 45 seconds in the microwave and you’ve got breakfast. That’s not how it works.

Re-birth from above in love seems to come more often than not on the other side of security shattering experiences of powerlessness.

How will you know if you’ve been born again? I am not sure, but consider this:

If you begin to experience unexplainable, irrational love for all people no matter what, then you just might be born again from above.
